Stressed out
Today's stress
I didn't really know what to write about today, and I've been stressing all morning about the lack of money in my bank account. It's nothing that'll put me out on the street, but a series of poor purchasing decisions in the past few months have drained my bank account, and this month I'll be breaking even if I'm lucky.
I've made a task list in my bullet journal for today, but it's not much, and I can't find the energy to put on any more.
- Go to the gym
- Watch the Johnny Decimal workshop
- Get some more coffee beans
I suppose it's okay to have a slower, more methodical day today, but I fear none of this will distract me from my stress. I hope it all turns out okay, and I'll be damned if anything stops me from trying.
Additional notes from yesterday and today
TIL that not only does the Steam Deck Dock make a fantastic iPhone 15 charging stand, but it supports the HDMI out too, so I am typing this blog post with my keyboard and computer monitor....except it's my iPhone at the heart of it! It's no Samsung DeX, but it's still pretty cool.
I'd like to extend a hearty "fuck you" to EA, because I can't get Star Wars: Battlefront 2 working on my Linux gaming PC. It works fine on my Steam Deck after I upped the shaders cache size, and my gaming PC is over twice as powerful, but the EA app rubbish they packed in keeps crashing and swearing it's offline. EA, please, go step on a Lego and remove your packed in anal excretions from the damn game, and perhaps more people would play it, eh? For now, I'm still playing Battlefront 2 (2005) because surprise! It works! Even Aspyr couldn't fuck that up!
I've also managed to get my schedule regular enough to where I should be able to stream every Tuesday and Thursday on Twitch. I still haven't decided what I want out of that, if it's a career or hobby or if I want to make any money off it.

Sorry for the inconsistent formatting - this all spilled out into the editor, but I didn't have a better way to put it up. I'll keep writing for WeblogPoMo and I'll keep finding something to write about!
